Manager, Infection Prevention / Four Facility Regional Health System, Great Lakes Region

A Case Study

Home \ Manager, Infection Prevention / Four Facility Regional Health System, Great Lakes Region

The Situation
This regional health system near Lake Michigan was self-described as “treading water” within their Infection Prevention department. They were looking for a proven leader who could both wrap their hands around the program and be proactive rather than reactive, and also guide the system through several new construction projects both currently and in the near future.

The Search
In less than three weeks, Roman’s team communicated with over 800 qualified candidates before presenting the best one to the client hospital. We were able to present that candidate one week after the search was opened, because we specialize in Infection Prevention and maintain personal relationships with the most-qualified Infection Preventionists nationwide.

The Solution
The placed candidate has over 15 years of experience in Infectious Diseases, Infection Control, Microbiology, and Epidemiology, including as a consultant for the World Health Organization in Sierra Leone. At a previous facility, this candidate had increased Hand Hygiene Compliance from 14% to 80%, and employed new strategies to guarantee project sustainability.
