Three acute care hospitals, part of an integrated health system

Masters degree required, minimum 7 years of experience required

About the Position: 

The Area Quality Leader, a VP level title at a large integrated health system in Northern California, will lead a team of five direct reports with 18 FTEs and oversee three hospitals. This collaborative leadership position will be filled by a strong professional who is data driven, analytical, and has experience in all aspects of Quality. The ideal candidate will also have health plan oversight experience, operational experience, and be comfortable with a matrix model of operating.

Required Qualifications:

Clinical license preferred
Master’s degree required
Minimum seven-ten years leadership experience
Strong knowledge of quality assurance, utilization review, risk management, and accreditation and licensing requirements

About the Location:

Located in the Central Valley about an hour and a half East of San Francisco, Modesto is the 18th largest city in the state of California. Forbes magazine ranked the city in the top 50 on its list of “Best Bang-for-the-Buck Cities.”  On average, there are 260 sunny days per year in Modesto. Downtown is known for having a variety of restaurants and nightlife, including three weekly farmer’s markets. It also hosts a multi-venue Art Walk year-round on the third Thursday of the month, free to view with maps available. The Modesto Symphony Orchestra is a staple in the community and performs at the Gallo Center, while music festivals abound throughout the warmer months.
